![]() ![]() I usually have this quest already before Hiberheim, it's neat to have the Stone Case in your inventory before picking up the Tenebrium Wand that drops in Hiberheim.) It's advisable to have the quest from Brandon in Silverglen before entering the mines. ( The Luculla mines are next after Hiberheim. after Cyseal where this is not necessarily the case. Following the main quest line leads you to the level-appropriate areas in the right order. ![]() have you been to the Black Cove?)įollow the Witch. (Although not part of the main quest line. If you don't, you're not done with the Cyseal area yet. You must have the quest "Follow the Witch" (or similar). So if you ain't running into them, then it means you are the wrong place at the wrong time, and the best thing to do is go elsewhere to the right place where you will meet enemies who are at your current level.Īlthough the caveat to what I just said is: if you do everything, then towards the end of the game, you will probably over-leveled, and might only be able to find enemies who are below your level (which sucks in the opposite way of the scenario that your OP is talking about.because once you are above the enemies' level, then they pose no challenge at all, since the whole game is balanced around character levels & monster levels). There's always plenty of enemies in the world who are at or below the same levels as your characters. There's no reason ever to do that, and the game isn't designed for that type of play ( side note tangent: even though it technically can be done by using extreme exploits of the game's mechanics, but I'm talking about the average player who is interested in experiencing the game normally, and who wouldn't want to do extreme exploits and/or skip most of the game's content). You should never ever be fighting enemies that are above your level at any point in the game. Yup, you definitely missed stuff, and it sounds like you missed a whole lot of stuff. ![]()
